The Yorkshire Divide ‘Three Ridings’ is the challenge of completing three trails in one calendar year by self-supported bikepacking.

 
 
 
 

The landscapes

Yorkshire is England’s largest county with 2.9 million acres home to 5 million people and an estimated 2.1 million sheep. These basic numbers give you a sense of scale but they ignore one of the most distinctive features of Yorkshire and that is the diversity of its landscapes. These landscapes and the estimated 6,000km of old tracks that criss-cross the gravel, peat and stone form the bones of the ‘Three Ridings’:
