25 major rivers flow though Yorkshire. Each of these rivers have their source on the Pennines moors to the west and the Cleveland hills and Westerdale moors to the north.

The Yorkshire Divide takes 10 of these rivers and the trails that run along them as the inspiration for three long distance bike trails and events in May/June and September 2024.

The rivers are: Don, Calder, Aire, Wharfe, Nidd, Ure, Swale, Esk, Derwent and the Ouse.
