Start line - From 7am till 10am with tea or coffee and breakfast pastries to get you fueled up. No mass start. Depart when you’re ready from the start line at the front of the community centre.

Finish line - Hot soup and bread rolls from 2pm - 5pm.  No event officials on duty at MYCC between 10am - 2pm as we’ll be out riding the trail but access is possible to the event room.

GPX files x7 - Field tested gpx files will be sent to your email address a week prior to the event.

Route options - There is no need to declare which route you hope to ride when you sign onto the event. Riders receive the full set of GPX files in the week leading up to the event and so can decide on the day which route to ride and swap between routes when they are out on the hills (assuming you have loaded up more than one GPX which is always a good idea).

Parking - Your vehicle can be parked at MYCC for the duration of the event from Friday through to Sunday morning.

Camper vans - Bonus that you can park your van at Mytholmroyd Community Centre on Friday night prior to the Calder Skyline.  Make sure you register your vehicle at the MYCC desk to avoid the parking charges.

Railway - Mytholmroyd is on the train line between Leeds and Manchester.

Tickets: £30

£40 from 24/04/2026

Route options vary from the 58km (MTB), 77km (MTB) and 100km that take riders onto a mix of fast rolling tracks and rougher moorland tracks with the very steep and rough track that is Bodkin Lane. The 77km MTB varies to the 58km as it heads further north and through a hidden clough / through a wide stream and onto tracks into Haworth.

The 29km, 68km (GRVL) and 81km (GRVL) options takes rides on tracks that are well maintained and in good condition even after a long wet winter. The 29km (GRVL) stays within close reach of Hebden Bridge. The 68km and 81km go to the ‘Top of the Stairs’ and a steep descent back to the Calder Valley. The 81km heads through the ancient hamlet of Wycoller with its packhorse bridge and onto more grass tracks and deep holloways to enter Haworth.

For a challenging ride there is the 144km route with several demanding climbs and descents (but all on tracks that are fine on a gravel bike with 45mm tyres but probably more fun on a mtb).
