Seven Valleys

Seven Valleys explores a corner of the South Pennines landscape renowned for its heather moorland, steep valley slopes and former mill towns that have reinvented themselves.

Hidden away from view there are ancient track ways that radiate out through the South Pennines like green spokes from a hub. It is these packhorse tracks and drovers lanes that we connect as we traverse this beautiful landscape heavy with the weight of extraction for wool, coal and water but still green and still public land.
